Railways Around the Mediterranean

Sometimes it’s a little hard to divide the railways of the world up into neat geographical areas and Railways Around the Mediterranean is designed to pick up all those countries that border the Mediterranean Sea that don’t quite fit into other geographical areas.

For example, when you think of Egypt or Libya you may not think of Africa and when you think of Turkey or Lebanon you don’t think of Europe or Asia so, this page will cover all those countries that don’t quite fit anywhere else.

There’s also the problem of finding enough content to fill separate pages for both steam and diesel so we’ll start with a page that covers both.
